We have currently been researching Search Engine optimization, Part of understanding the process of search engine optimization is being able to understand how search engines work. Without this understanding you cannot utilize every tool being used these days for search engine optimization.
Search engines act as a portal to the vast amount of information accessible on the web today. When search engines first came around they were use to a couple thousand inquiries a day now there is tens of millions a day with hundreds of millions of pages indexed a day.
Web crawlers help organize and present new pages, websites and info daily. Web crawlers are a bot of sorts. I will have an article on web crawlers soon to help you understand this bit of technology. Without web crawlers these search engines would be overloaded and you would get even more error notices!
